How are you so affordable?
In Short: Standardization and a Low Cost-Basis
Most agencies run high-touch, bespoke workflows for sales, onboarding, and project management, and have multiple specialist developers on each team.
For each new customer, they'll spend a lot of time on creating, for example, sales materials, project specs, and custom contracts before they've begun the work.
Because of how much time and energy it takes to on-board a client, these companies tend to try to extract as much value as possible from each one.
Our approach is to 1) Standardize these processes and 2) Work with lower margins.
This means we make less profit per customer, but in offering affordable pricing and lower-touch sales, can reach many more customers.
In addition, because our developers are based in the Philippines, and our other team resources (design and PM), are split across 2 to 3 projects, our cost basis is much lower than the average agency team.
How exactly does the pricing agreement work?
When we decide to work together, we'll send you our standard agreement, which states that you pay a fixed monthly fee on a rolling monthly basis. In any given month, you can give us notice that you would like to enter Skeleton Mode, starting from the next month, with a minimum of two week's notice.
During Skeleton mode we'll be on hand for any critical issues (outages), but will not work on new features. Skeleton Mode will cost 10% of the normal price (currently €650/mo).
In any given month, you can give us notice that you'd like to cancel your subscription. Cancellations become effective at the end of the following month, so if you cancel half way through June, we'll officially end the agreement at the end of July. This is to give us time to finish up whatever's in the backlog and off-board the team.

Generally, we only work with companies who have the manpower and willpower to support digital products. We will do a huge amount of the creative and organizational heavy lifting, but there are areas which can't be completed without your involvement. We already have a designer. Can we work with you?
Absolutely. We have several clients who have existing design resource and would prefer to keep design in-house. This won't change the price however, as our design costs are fixed and our offer is built around an all-in price for every customer.
What tech stack do you use?
We work primarily with Ruby on Rails. This is the same framework that huge companies like Shopify, Stripe, and Github use. It also has a very large and active community.
